Traditional Japanese martial arts are attracting a great deal of attention from around the world. Among them, the spiritual nature of karate attracts many people, and it is said that there are approximately 130 million enthusiasts around the world.
Aimed at karate fans from all over the world, a premium tour that allows you to fully experience Japanese culture with a focus on karate will be held in Kyoto in the winter!
The tour is packed with content that can be enjoyed by people of all ages, with the main focus being a karate training experience at the Butokuden, an important cultural property, and the opportunity to view and actually touch martial arts equipment such as the sai, a weapon used in Ryukyu ancient martial arts, with demonstrations. You can also try out karate's straw pounding and straw cutting using a real sword.

- 10:30: Meet at Tozando Shogoin store and learn about the history of karate (the development of karate from ancient martial arts) while touching martial arts equipment.
- 11:45～: Lunch
- 13:00～: Karate training experience at the Butokuden, an important cultural property that tells the history of Japanese martial arts
Travel by rickshaw while enjoying the scenery of Kyoto
- 15:30～: Experience Japanese martial arts at Tozando Gion Yasaka store (straw-thrusting karate, straw-cutting with a real sword, etc.)
- 17:00～: Disbandment
Karate experience
Experience (practice) karate at the Butokuden, an important cultural property that tells the history of Japanese martial arts. It is a program that can be enjoyed by beginners to advanced practitioners, and you can learn the "way" of karate. Lunch is also included on all dates.

Viewing traditional Japanese weapons
Tozando is a workshop that manufactures and sells traditional Japanese weapons, and you can also view weapons other than karate (armor and swords) with explanations.
Experience straw thrusting and straw cutting
This is a unique experience where you can try straw thrusting in karate and straw cutting with a real sword.

- Cancellations after registration are accepted up to one week before the event. After that, cancellations, changes, and refunds cannot be made for any reason after the event registration has been completed. Event fees will not be refunded even if you are barred from entry or kicked out due to nuisance behavior. The organizer will determine whether or not the event is a nuisance.
- If you are forced to transfer your event participation rights to a third party, please be sure to contact the organizer by the day before the event to inform them of the recipient and your contact information after the transfer. If you transfer your rights without contacting us, you may be denied entry. In addition, any problems that arise as a result of the transfer must be resolved between the parties involved. The organizer will not bear any responsibility.
- If the event date and time needs to be changed due to the organizer's circumstances, except in unavoidable circumstances such as natural disasters or epidemics, the organizer will, in principle, contact you by email or the method specified by the organizer before the event date. At that time, we will confirm again whether you can participate, and if you are unable to participate, we will refund the event fee in full. Please note that unless the organizer contacts you to change the event date and time or cancel it, it will be considered a cancellation due to customer circumstances and no refund will be made.
- If the event is cancelled due to reasons of the organizer, except in unavoidable circumstances such as natural disasters or epidemics, the organizer will, in principle, contact you by email or a method specified by the organizer before the event date. In such cases, the event fee will be refunded in full. However, unless the organizer notifies you of a change in the event date and time or cancellation, the event will be considered a cancellation due to customer's circumstances and no refund will be made.
- If the event is canceled due to earthquakes, typhoons, tsunamis, storms, floods, epidemics or infectious diseases, other natural disasters, war, riots, civil unrest, terrorism, labor disputes, strikes by third parties, the establishment, amendment or repeal of laws and regulations, orders or dispositions by public authorities, fires beyond the control of the organizers, or other force majeure, the event fee will not be refunded.
- This tour is for ages 13* to 60. *Please be accompanied by a guardian.
- If you are joining this tour, please wear comfortable clothing.
- We do not allow pets to enter the venue (except for guide dogs, service dogs, and hearing dogs).
- Photography is permitted, but the use of a tripod is prohibited.
